Ah, well, I just wanted to see what people would say about Phil Ivey and Spirit Rock playing on Full Tilt. No biters.

Re: A couple of interesting hands

Of course I don't play anywhere near these levels, but I do just have one question about hand number 1. Why do you raise the turn? Every draw got there. Was this more of a semi-bluff to push villain off a better hand, or were you positive that you were ahead?

Headsup? Why wouldn't you raise the turn? You have top 2! I know the draws just got there, but the idea of putting someone on exactly T9 or even a spade draw is ridiculous. Get the chips in there! The guy hit a 2-outer on him.

Re: A couple of interesting hands

Then let me ask another question. If you raise when the worst possible card in the deck hits, why not raise the flop and charge a possible draw? I'm not saying that this was necessarily the wrong play, I'm just curious what the reasoning was for it.

He bet 300 on the flop, man. I think you are having a hard time reading these hands properly because they are from an observer's perspective occasionally (since they were observed hands.)
