When do you wait for the turn to raise??
Ok I obviously don't understand when to apply the concept of passing on a small flop edge to raise the turn with a larger advantage.
According to SSH (p189) the criteria for this play are: 1. Raising the flop has little chance to to induce opponents to fold 2. Your hand is vulnerable, many cards (often up to half the deck) could beat you 3. If a favorable card comes you edge will be much larger on the turn I understand these ideas but am clueless as to when to apply them. In the spirit of the classic Instances of WA/WB thread I'm hoping that people will post examples of this play here and help me and other confused folks figure this out. Here is an old link from a while ago. It isn't comprehensive, but it's a start.
