They won't let me log in to the website of join any games. Customer service says they are "verifying my account" and that is all they can tell me now. The seem to have let me withdraw most of my $, but it takes a while to show in neteller.

Customer service said this is happens often.

Has this happened to you?

I wouldn't count on that email. They've said that they'd send me an email before, and nothing.

It happened to me when I opened a new account. They made me close my old one. Took about 6mins on the phone with them. I'd just give them a call, prolly nothing to worry about.

I don't know what the hell it could be. I have a few possible tiny transgressions, like looking at the prophecy website, but not while I'm playing, and having signed up for a second account in my Wife's name to get rakeback, but it doesn't seem like those things cause one to be investigated.

I'm sure no bot, I play like 300/month.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong, but arg.

I want to open a new one for certain reasons. Is it really that easy to get party to close my old one and open a new one?

Prolly the 2nd account, and stay the hell away from Prophecy.

There is nothing wrong with opening the 2nd account, they'll just close the old one and xfer the balance.

Got problems registering a new account under gf's name. But that was a major transgression because I funded that new account with my own credit card and was surprised to receive a phone call no more than 2 minutes later.

Hey Jay: It will prolly get worked-out, but it's a real pain. Happened to me twice; both having to do with "other" accounts/$$$ xfers/trying to get RB....I was amazed at how much the "knew" about my online poker activities....Your problem could be the result of $$$xfer from somebody else who has a problem with PP.

Can't say more. When I have problems with PP, hard to get answers. When THEY have a problem, takes 2 minutes and I speak with someone.

And I don't own prophecy. I just do their free sample search once in a while and not while I have party running.

Holy [censored] [censored], as I login to cashout my account due to paranoia, the same [censored] happens! When I try to login via the website it says my account has been "blocked" and that Ive received an email explaining why, although I haven't. However I can login through the client and play, as well as cashout but only via the client. Anything I try over the website says my account is blocked. Party is really starting to scare me, Im going to keep the bare minimum in my acct from now on. I somehow feel like one could be accused of being a robot without any due process and have all their money confiscated.

Same thing here. At first I could log into party, but it wouldn't show me new tables. Now it will show me new tables, but still won't let me log into the site. It seemed like it would let me cash out last night, but I still don't have the money in neteller. Plus, read my post where you said I was the fanciest player you had ever seen.

Ok, maybe they are just doing some routine thing where they are harrassing lots of people. I dunno, I guess I don't care, but Im never keeping more than 5-10k in any acct ever again for quite a bit. It let me cash out, but who knows if thats really going to happen. Whatever, we shouldnt have to sit here worrying about this to begin with, without any explanation.

I don't use MTH or any software that controls actions on party. I also only play about 300/month, and I chat sometimes.

I'd call them back again and demand to speak to a manager - be polite but indignant; if you spoke to them at 4am last night the head goons probably weren't around so the call center gave you a run around.

I recently got into a dispute with them over funds (they were "holding" a deposit - long story but ridiculous) and asked to speak to a manager. I got put on hold for about 10 minutes and then was told to call back in an hour. LOL

no, not really. started out on pokerstars and am spoiled with there state of the art software. then tried playing other sites Party included and the software sux. Would take a lot of adjusting to starting chip counts also. Just spoiled by pokerstars, that's all.

understandable, but it's important to note that just because you would have to adjust to party's structure and starting chips doesn't mean that they suck. they're quite good for pushbotting, and very good for $/hr, imo.

you're right about software...pstars is much better.
