Alix Powers at Canterbury Park - (Marcel Luske tomorrow) -
 

Alix Powers was at Canterbury, playing 8/16 and I think some tournaments - I tried to steer clear as he seemed to aggravate everyone who spoke to him.

Marcel is coming tomorrow - allegedly, the World Poker Store is bringing him out to Canterbury - but I think it's the only Omaha H/L tourney left in the country, what with everyone going to NL holdem, that'll bring him out tomorrow.

Ah yes, dealing with crazy strung out homeless folks - another Canterbury day in Minnesota.

I was playing 6/12 last Friday and saw him next door at a 8/16 game. He was wearing headphones and not talking to anyone, and nobody was talking to him.

James (the dealer) said Elix is backed by someone to play in some of the events.

Got a call from a good friend who was at Canterbury last night (Monday, 10/10).

Said he had just made the final table there and that Marcele was the chipleader going into it.

Have yet to hear how it ended.

I was there Monday -

I saw the signs about him being there on Wed. - someone of his stature would have gotten my attention if he were playing -

I don't believe he was there - that's why they're pimping his actual arrival tomorrow.

Same here, maybe we were at the same table. He was playing a short stack.

He created quite a fuss when two other players raised him out of a pot, and then checked it down. He accused them of collusion, called over a floor, and ended up shouting alot and racking up.

The "Jack high!" jokes were running strong all afternoon.
