Would this be cheating????

For live B/M poker let’s say hypothetically I have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and I am on button with four others. Flop comes back K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I act all confused and announce that I am all-in. Dealer lets me know its not my turn and the other 3 players will probably check based on my previous intentions. When it gets to me I check and take the free card.

LoL, not cheating at all...I like it! But it would only work one time, And when u had to show you hand down, others may take it as a angle shot

Do you think angle shooting is cheating...if yes, then this is cheating..if no, then this is not cheating.

Why do you think most cardrooms have a rule stating verbal declarations are binding?

I was playing in a tournament in London.

I had 94o. 6 handed. CO limps, SB completes, I check.

Flop was A92. Now I think I probably have the best hand and would like to get a better 9 to fold, so I bet half the pot. I am then informed it is not my turn, and SB now announces "all in". I was told that my bet out of turn stood, but in this case I got a reprieve as SB's all in was more than I had bet. SB had KK and CO had AA.

My point being, AFAIK, if they all check to you, your verbal declaration binds you to go all in.

Donīt know about america, but in europe all verbal actions are binding. If the money crosses the line before itīs your time to act, it also counts as a bet. If you play pot limit, and say "pot" you have just bet the entire pot. If you really what asking the amount allowed to bet or whatever it doesīnt matter

I did that in a live game!! I don't play much live, so I get excited sometimes. I had TT and saw the T on the flop before it was down on table and yelled "I'm all in". I was in Pos. 6 with 4 people to act and 8 total in the hand. With about 400 in the pot. They called the floor person over to rule on the situation, the concences at the table was I was not able to bet on flop. The floor person said I could bet or do what ever I wanted to do, but you know how poker makes people. So I went all in on the turn. My full house TTT22 was beat by four 2.

Live play was alot different from internet play for me. I had to learn to keep my excitement in check.

It would be considered a heavy angle shot,

In many casinos, you will have to put your chips in if they do indeed all check to you.

Keep doing this and acting out of they turn and they'll ban you.

Dont do it, it's [censored] cheap.

I have no respect for players that angle shoot like this, though many casinos will let you get away with it maybe once. I don't stand for shots like that though. If you're playing in my home game, your all in stands, regardless of your acting out of position.
