$55 ITM: 77 facing a 2.5BB raise from constant raiser Bigstack

Doing this from the top of my head.

Blinds 100/200

Button 5000
SB 4000 (HERO = 77)
BB 1000

Preflop:
Button raises to 500, HERO?

button has been big stack since Lvl4. I didnt notice how he got that way. He's doing a good job as Bigstack bully by constantly raising the blinds when it's folded to him.

If someone fights back, Sometimes he folds, sometimes he calls and folds on flop, and sometimes he'll goto showdown if he paired up the board. The 2 times i saw him goto showdown, he had middle pair with TQs, and tptk (AKo).

This is the 2nd orbit ITM. I and BB folded to his raise last orbit.

The 1st thing i thought was PUSH since thats trained behavior when ITM. But caught myself in time when I realized blinds were only 100/200. Since i dont encounter this often, this PUSHBOT is lost in this situation.

What would you do, and why?

I'd call and play some post flop poker. You definately dont want to fold. BB might decide to make a stand here if you fold and then double up. By getting involved you make it more likely he folds with only 800 left which is a good result for you. Now, how are your post flop skills?
