Been out of the loop for a while, what are you all using now?

Just curious what you are all using now for the standard stats readouts on opponents for Party... I prefer something that is free of course, but I have no idea what's been going on in a while.

Thanks for the help.

PA Hud. It costs $25, but it is so much worth it!

not sure what you are using but these two are absolutely mandatory:

poker tracker
--still the gold standard

pokeraceHUD
--newish program that is filled with customizable features and even new and improved stats for measuring aggression...25 dollars is simply a steal when you consider the now defunct partymine charged 30 for a moderate at best mining application.

also many are using postgreSQL for databases rather than access, as it allows for much bigger databases and seems to run somewhat faster......see the poker tracker forum for instructions on how to install.

cheers,

They landed a man on the moon?? NO WAY!!

(i second the votes for PT and PAHUD. I also like partymine a lot, but it's getting usurped (hopefully) by Supamine soon)

with regard to partymine....

i admit that i have only used beta....instead my opininon arose from the various threads discussing the program.

actually, the kicker was the higher price than PAHUD.

definately hoping Supamine does the job.

cheers,

I think party mine delivers what it promises. While the support isnt that of PT or PAHUD the program still does its job. I think we have all just been spoiled by Pat and Josh with their insane support. I also dont think that party mine was overpriced. I just think that PAHUD is underpriced.

[/ QUOTE ]I actually agree with TK here. I know I was one of the main nay-sayers, but I think I need to apologize for those statements. PartyMine is NOT "defunct", and it makes datamining WAY more effective. (I was working on an AHK script to do it myself, and it's certainly worth $30 just to save me the hours of coding. Like TK said; maybe PartyMine isn't overpriced, it's just that PokerTracker, PokerAce, and MultiTableHelper are way underpriced.

Josh could charge $50 for PA HUD and it would still be a steal, IMHO.

Yes, the latest beta of PA Hud does support the resizing windows. However, there seems to be some other bugs with the newest Party beta.
