Also maybe it's a change, but the 40$/month is no longer risk free, you cannot cash out anything until you have completed the bonus.

Can anyone confirm this?

[/ QUOTE ]
still seems risk free to me.

I did it yesterday with no problems...worked the same as last month except I actually won 100 quid this month!

Re: Help Needed William Hill bonus???

It cant be risk free because i got this from the terms and conditions on their web site :

"The Casino encourages end users to participate in promotions, but to refrain from abusing them. Any abuse of a promotion that comes to the attention of the Casino may result in the cancellation of that promotion and/or future promotion. Our definition of abuse by end users includes, but is not entirely made up of, making use of promotional offers such a match deposits without ever risking their own funds."

So if you cash out as soon as you have met the bonus then your abusing it because your not risking your own money.

it IS risk free. If you deposit 50 bucks and they give you a 25 match, you can bet with the 75 balance immediately and stop if you are losing before you dip into your original 50. Therefore, you can never lose that 50 as long as you have any self-control to stop placing wagers. Therefore, there is no risk.

But is that not what they are getting at, Your not risking your own funds, the 50 you deposit! your only playing with bonus money and any winnings above that, never your own cash!

it is your own cash as soon as you clear the wagering requirement.

Maybe you could do it risk-free, but you shouldn't. For one thing, the uncleared WR carries over from month to month, whether you bust out or withdraw before clearing. More importantly, this is a monthly bonus. You can get it several times before you get banned, if you don't blatantly abuse it. If you do blatantly abuse it by withdrawing your original deposit before you've cleared the WR, guess what? You'll get banned immediately.

So sack it up and accept some +EV risk.

but once you clear the wr then you withdraw is that not the point, why keep playing risking your money once its clear maybe a few hands but thats it! would that be enough to say that you are infact risking your own cash.

Hell, I've been clearing this bonus risk free for 6 months at least. And the time I busted, I waited until the following month and used their bonus to clear the previous plus current month WR. I was not banned immediately, I was not banned 6 months later...but play at your own risk.

you're taking the term too literally for this discussion. when it comes to casino whoring in general, "risk-free" simply means any bonus which is cashable (non-sticky), given to you up front upon deposit, and does not deduct from your withdrawable balance.

if you choose not to accept normal variance and withdraw as soon as you hit your original deposit, then generally your WR will carry over to the next reload. so in the long run the EV will be the same, and the casino technically shouldn't care how you play it off. while you may not be losing any of your "own" money, you may also one day have a situation where you're ahead $50 with $10,000 of built-up wagering to go, which mathematically is about break-even playing blackjack.

Exactly.

And, the only risk is that you can't do the bonus anymore, not a monetary one.
