Using campaign funds to pay parking tickets and buy tickets to a Red Sox game? Is that really ethical?? |
Re: We need an ethics invesigation of John F. Kerry
I think this is really going to hurt Kerry/Edwards 04' election chances.
Oh, wait... |
Re: We need an ethics invesigation of John F. Kerry
"A Federal Election Commission spokesman said congressmen are entitled to pay for parking tickets and other expenses from their campaign funds as long as they were 'campaign-related'."

Re: We need an ethics invesigation of John F. Kerry
I'm not particularly fond of John Kerry, but I think it's pretty clear that his attendance at the Red Sox game was a part of his campaign. Why shouldn't he be able to pay parking tickets received while campaigning with campaign funds?

Re: We need an ethics invesigation of John F. Kerry
Maybe if he would have parked in legal spaces and used the money he saved for a few more commercials in Ohio he would have got elected.

Re: We need an ethics invesigation of John F. Kerry
I didn't know that Pelosi was a man.
