Villain and I are at war. We are playing shorthanded on 3 tables at the same time and have had alot of confrontations. He is LAGgy and distrusting, but not too bad at all and very very aggro. I've shown down everything from big bluffs to the nuts so I'm sure he thinks of me similar to the read I just gave you for him.

So I assume you think he'd do this with a big ace, trying to push you off your ace?

If so, you gotta call. But I dont like doing it, because it sure looks like your behind to a higher pair.

Well thanks guys, now that I look back at it I maybe did underplay it. It sure is tough playing against hyper aggro decent guys shorthanded and I'm sure I screwed up many against this guy. This time he actually had it though, I lost to Q9o. Something to be said for straightforward play as I never thought he flopped trips.
