I have seen all of these films save "Munich". "Amistad" wouldn't even make my top 5 worst list.

Dammit. I clicked 1941 without reading all the entries. Otherwise, yes, Hook! Besides being a generally horrible movie, I really hated that super-cutesy little girl.

I think 1941, tho' better than many others on the list, has more sukage value since it was such a huge disappointment, both at the time of its release, and eternally on DVD.

We had a thread re: this a while ago; I think it was titled "Best Casts, Worst Movies". There is a staggering amount of talent in "1941".

Surprised to see so many votes for Hook. I love that movie.

I went with The Lost World. It's among my least favorite movies of all time. Also, it bothers me when people rip on Spielberg because of War of the Worlds' ending. It's not like he wrote it. As far as translating the book into a movie, I think he did an awesome job; besides the anti-climactic ending, I think it's a pretty sweet movie, which I can hardly say for The Lost World...

EDIT: Indiana Jones?! Wtf? Harrison Ford is a badass. I don't know anyone that doesn't like those movies.

there are movies that shouldnt be on the list because people are either just voting them as jokes or are simply complete morans and shouldnt have their opinions be heard anyway.

The Color Purple and Amistad are obvious choices. Why you would choose to make those movies is beyond me.

I haven't seen The Terminal but I can't see how it could be good.

A.I. is winning this poll? That's a genuine surprise. The movie is very good.

It's always worth a laugh when somebody says they don't like the film because aliens show up at the end.

I'm quite certain that's why it's losing. The rest of the movie is better than average. It's just hard for some people to get over the tacked-on ending with the aliens.

You didn't get it. Though, you are hardly alone.

A.I. is often criticized because "aliens show up at the end for no reason".

They are not aliens. They are mechas (robots) just like David (Haley Joel Osment's chracter) except they are centuries more advanced. In the film, Gigolo Joe (I think) comments that mechas will eventually replace humans as the dominant species on the Earth. At the end of the film, we see that.

When the SuperMechas find David, it's like they're finding a piece of their ancient history. They're finding one of the first of their kind.

It's a much different ending when you realize who finds David.
