ROI, Variance, 2 player SnGs vs 10 player SnGs.

I don't play SnGs, so I really have no basis to answer this question. In any case, people talk about variance and ROI in regular one table tourneys. I don't care what these numbers are, I'm just curious how these numbers would compare to heads up tournaments.

Anyone with data or common sense that can help me out?

Where will you see larger swings?
Where can you have a larger edge?

It's a different skill set, so it's rather difficult to compare. Your opponents' skills matter too, and I have no idea what buyin you would compare.

But if you somehow get past all that and are able to figure out what it means to be equally good at each, and able to figure out what buyins to be comparing, etc, then I guess you'll find 2-player will have lower variance and lower ROI.
