Overcards become flush draw.

Villain is 45/19 over 45 hands.
Have not seen him show down many cards, so I'm not sure what he's being agressive with.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP calls, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls, MP calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP folds, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero calls.

3 Bet this?

Turn: (7.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button caps</font>, Hero calls.

Now I'm concerned about a higher flush....

River: (15.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 17.25 BB
How was that?

i bet/call a raise on the river. i check-call the flop i dont think a lead is going to accomplish anything oop and i dont think a check-raise forces him off a better hand unless its red AK or along those lines.

Is his flop raise for value(Could be) or bluff?
Whats his AF?(Why aren't people posting these now days?!?!? gee)

I play the same i suppose, Could bet the river and call a raise.

Don't be too concerned, he can have AA, KK or TT with a spade at that point.

I'd check/call the flop against a pf raise, is that a big mistake? I fear i'm behind high PP or OC.

Sorry about that, total agression factor, including pf is 1.65

How does one determine if his flop raise is a bluff or for value when I'd not previously seen him showdown much? I have trouble putting wildy agressive guys on a hand, precisely because they do whatever with whatver.

I don't like check/calling. Even if he has a high PP, you still have the flush draw and runner runner on your OC's. I think that's close to 38 % or so, so bet calling on the flop is the better play methinks.

I would have bet/called the river. Other than that I would've played the same. It's interesting that the guys (who know a lot more than me) checked the flop. Would you have check\raised the made hand on the turn?
