What should I get?

I have a monitor now all I need is a new computer. What should I get? All I am going to use it for is pretty much just poker and internet. All thoughts appreciated!
thanks

If it is just going to be for internet surfing and poker only, I imagine you could get away with a pretty damn cheap machine- maybe an E-machines model. 350-500 should do it. I am assuming you won't need a killer graphic card or a large hardrive cause you won't be playing games or downloading and storing music or lots of photos etc. Check them out.

Well, if that is the case, just make sure you get a decent sized hardrive. If you will be downloading lossless stuff like I do, it will fill up very very fast. Hardrives are sooooo cheap anyway these days, get at least 120 GB maybe even two of them. My computer is fro Velocity Micro but they are not the cheapest. They are very well built and I got mine there because I was frustrated with Dell. What is your budget by the way???

How much you willing to spend?

And you want a non-build it yourself computer, correct?

EDIT: Nevermind, you should be happy with an E-Machine or possibly an Acer (I know they're cheap, just don't know if they're any good). And possibly a cheap Dell.

Think of the three, E-Machine will be the cheapest.

Oh good lord, I'm going to hell. 2 people suggesting e-machines as viable computers. /gag

Try Dell Refurbished if you want cheap:

I just check on e-machines and yes there are computers for around $500 though theyit doesn't include monitors. $500 is tight but doable. The least expensive Velocity around 740.
Good luck.

Seems well worth the price even though I am not a big dell fan myself. But for $500 its cool.
