Calling with high pocket pairs

Often I find myself at a crazy table where it is raised the pot preflop to around $15-$20 (1-2 blinds) and the majority of the table calls. Am I supposed to be calling this raise with high pocket pairs (JJ-KK) in hopes of hitting a set to take down the huge pot on the flop, or is it better to wait for stronger hand and re-raise all-in? I seem to call often to try and hit a set because I know I'll get paid off when I hit but is it worth it in the long run?

how big are the stacks. if the game is 50BB or less you could just sit back and wait for AA if the game is that crazy. Otherwise if you have a good drawing hand like 9TJQ double suited or two pair you generally wan't to be able to win about 5 times the current bet you are facing. So if it's mulitway I could definetely see calling even with short stacks. with the big pairs like KK-jj In holdem you would like to be able to win around 20 times the current bet your are facing. You usually have other possibilites in Omaha so you could probably call bigger raises but I don't know if there's a precise number. probably depends on what else you have to go with your big pair and if the raiser will overplay his aces or other overpairs.
