AJs in the SB very poorly played

I hate the way I played this so any advice would be appreciated

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed)

Hero ($52.75)
BB ($50)
UTG ($42)
UTG+1 ($74.06)
MP1 ($47.40)
MP2 ($61.30)
MP3 ($79.38)
CO ($117)
Button ($74.58)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $1, CO folds, Button folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($3) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $3, BB folds, MP3 raises to $6, Hero raises to $13, MP3 raises to $20, Hero calls $7.

Turn: ($43) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $31.75 (All-In), MP3 calls $31.75.

River: ($106.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $106.50

Re: AJs in the SB very poorly played

pre-flop is fine, i like leading the flop, but i would make the 3-bet bigger. i'd make it about 18 or 20 to go. you're only making him call 7 more, which is very easy to do with any kind of draw.

when he 4-bets, i think i'd push right there. the problem with flat calling is that there a lot of scare cards for you - any K, Q, or heart. you don't know which of those he needs. is your plan on the turn going to be to check-fold if any of them hit? to check-call? either way, you risk either paying off a winner or getting pushed off your hand. just raise all-in on the flop.

there's a decent chance TT, JJ, or (especially) AA would have raised preflop, so the last hand left you really don't want to play against is KQs.

you flopped top 2 pair. wouldn't put him on a set since he probably would have raised pre-flop. could have flopped a nut straight. how was he playing before this hand, was he aggressive. if i had a straight with so many players you didn't pot bet the flop so he could put you on a flush draw, but when you reraised him and he didn't fire big back i'm thinking he has 2 pair as well since there were 2 hearts i wouldn't want you to catch your flush. i think you should have pushed.

I was unsure of how to handle his last reraise. My plan was to call and push if a scare card didn't come.
