The search function... Driving me nuts!

Gooday to you all!
I don't know where to post this since I didn't find any OT poker forum in here, so this will have to do. You see I'm having a really hard time using the earch function on these forums. Í usually get the whole freakin forum as a search result whatever I search for. Needless to say, the search system is probably a reason for so many doubleposts on this forum.

But is there any guide or anything for searching the forums? I tried searching for one, but sort of failed

If I for example want to search for info regarding FullTiltPoker.com, what do I search for? I tried "Fulltilt" -re but I got TONS of posts. None of those I looked at had fulltilt in them.

Cheers

-re seems to make it pull up everything that doesn't have re in the title. Not sure what the deal is.

The definitive guide to searching on this forum.

Also worth mentioning is the site:

http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/ubbthreads.php

...which is the archived stuff which is older. There are many great posts hidden here that will not show up in the standard search on the current 2+2 threads.

Simply go to that site and search as usual.

Try:
+Fulltilt -re
Not intuitive, but it works

Go to Google and enter "site:forumserver.twoplustwo.com" then leave a space and do a normal search as you would on google.

There are two kinds of posters on 2+2.

1. Those who can never find anything remotely like what want using the search function.

2. Those who will ridicule all #1s for daring make a post about it.
