suited connectors

i understand the value of connectors but if its a lower suited connector what does it matter if its suited ... if you make a flush your stuck wondering if someone has a higher one .... so what does it matter if it suited

Humongous difference. In fact, the lower your cards, the more you need them to be suited.

In holdem, you don't really need to worry about competing flushes all that often. When you make a flush (using both cards), play it strong until someone comes back at you.

Doesn't happen enough.

The lower you go, the more boards can crush your hands with higher pairs on board pairing.
