worst brain fart during a game?
 

What is the worst mistake you ever made during a game?? I don't mean chasing something you shouldn't have, but more like the equivalent of a poker typo. (ie. accidentally folding 4 of a kind).

I had a straight to the ace with the king and the 10. My ten got conterfitted on the turn. likewise the king on the river. I was so pissed I got conterfitted I mucked with the nuts on board.

When I was first trying to two-table, I called on the river to close the action with the nut 2-card flush. I have a feeling the 8-tablers can put that to shame.

3 tabling .5/1 on party and a smaller nl game on midatlantic. At 1 table, I cap preflop with the nut flush draw, which I make on the river, take it to 3-bets and timeout to a raise because I had an all in decision at the nl game.

That's the kinda $hit that puts me on tilt.

The other day I had pocket Kings, raised preflop with lots of callers. Stayed in the hand with bets and raises on each round. When it came to showdown the dealer read the other player's cards 10's and fives. I thought he meant the guy had a 10 and a 5. Since there was a pair of 10s on the board I figured the guy had a full boat so I mucked my Kings. then looked and saw he had 5 jack, Threw away a pretty big pot.

I was playing 2-7 TD last night having a good time. I started jamming with what I thought was rough 76. I was so proud when I turned over 76543. I have barely played 5 hours of that game though so thats my excuse.

I was playing in a live tourney once against horrible opponents, and I get dealt j8 in the BB. Flop comes 9-t-q. And through the course of the hand, im constantly thinking to myself I have the nuts. Anywho it gets to the river and I get myself all-in and the guy just flips over KJ. And I look at it and then just laugh. I had been staring at that board for 2 minutes and I hadn't of even though of KJ beating my straight. Then after busting I decided not to rebuy because apparently my brain had shut off for the night and decided to go get some food and sleep instead.

Then my other favorite is I was playing a 2/4 game at a casino against horrible opponents. Im holding J9s, but for some reason I think im holding J8s (In live play I always just look at my cards PF and never look at them again during any situation). Flop comes 9-9-Q. So I call a bet on the flop with my gutshot, and turn puts out a K. I get bet into, and am ready to laydown my gutshot. But as im mucking my cards, I flip up the corners to show the guy next to me what im playing (he was a nice guy and we were kind of taking on the table, and he had folded PF), and as the cards are flying into the muck, I catch a glimpse of my J9 and just stare in shock. By the time it registered in my brain, the cards were already halfway across the table with the dealer scooping them into the muck, so there was nothing I could do about it. It was only a $30-40 pot, but my J9 was clearly dominating and would have won at showdown.

I have a few online but they are mostly from forgetting to switch on a 4-color deck, so they aren't as interesting or stupid.

I had 22 on the flop of Q 2 7 in like $50nl and I had an $80 stack, Villian had the same, Villian bets into me, I raise, he calls. Turn is a 7. Villian checks, I bet whatever, he calls. River is a Q, I'm not paying attention and I go all in ($40 bet) and villian calls with AQ and wins.

I lose my [censored] mind.

open folded KK in UTG+2, just so happen a guy with 88 flopped a set on that hand.
