general blind defense

Villain is new to table, no reads.

Party Poker 3/6 (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, CO raises, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero folds.

this is way too weak with ace-high. should i check-raise this ragged flop? if i check-call, what is my line on a blank turn?
fold preflop?

I think you have to at least some sort of read that this guy is aggressive preflop before making a move on that flop. If so, then I think check-raise, bet, check/fold(call?) is the best line to take.

Without a read it's impossible to pick a perfect strategy. That's not a terrible flop for your hand. I could see a c/r here and lead the turn. c/f isn't bad either since you have no read.

Leader, what kind of read would you like to have to make this checkraise, bet play ?

Just that he's not passive PF and is cappable of folding to either to the flop C/R or the turn lead if he doesn't have anything.
