High volume play question

For the affiliates, what do you consider a high volume player?

Someone who does 10K/month MGR, 15k?

How many peole actually do over 15K/month in MGR, are they rare?

In the grand scheme of things, 15K/month in MGR is very rare.

The average player on Party generates about $100/month in rake.

Right, but the avg 2p2 pro does much more than this. I would say anyone playing full time is doing 15k.

Reality Check...

While the avg 2+2 pro is clearly worth more than the avg player, based on my reading of the forums here, its clear that there are many playing full time that are generating less than 15K/month in MGR.

You run an affiliate site rt1... there were more than 1 million online poker players this year... can you state that you have signed up under you directly even 100 players generating 15K+ in MGR??? (Note: that would represent less than 0.01% of the online poker playing community, certainly very rare).

2k is pretty solid
5k is very very nice

anything more than that is very rare, though everybody and their mom claim to be doing over this every month

o and sniper, you can't pull from the party quarterly reports on this one man hehe he's talking about of the regular winning players i'm sure

so refigure his question as 'of the top 10% that generate 90% of income, what is considered hi MGR'

my answer...2k+

Re: High volume play question

The average rakeback player generates $300-400 a month in rake....based on the "active" accounts from a sample of 4400

As for High volume and based on this we consider anything over $2k as high volume and anything over $15k...well they get a signed photo of yours truly

Hope that helps

I would agree with that!

While reported company financials can't give us all the numbers (simply because not enough are reporting), they can give us alot of information, from which we can extrapolate useful information.

Here's a rough look...
Party - Avg rake $100/month (roughly sample 1 million)
Rakeback players - Avg rake $400/month (rough estimate of rakeback market <40K players)

If there was a huge number of players generating 15K/month in rake, it would have a larger impact on these numbers.
