Tonight's 10/20 NL. $1000 min/no max buyin game won't have a theme as the L@TB producer is out of town. However, do expect your usual action-packed Friday night show, which certainly will top what passed for a $200 game last night. I'm guessing I missed a thread where you discussed it -- and it's not really important, I'm just curious -- but why did you move these threads back to WPT from their theoretically-proper position of NL..?

I wonder if Barry is trying to tighten his calling up a bit. It's a tough call but I mean, its ED. Does Ed routinely flat call ragged flops with big pocket pairs?

do you think barry should have known his 10-10 was good after the flop and ed just called? If he had QQ, or KK, or AA, wouldn't he have raised the flop after a flop of 4-4-5? I know it's subtle info but what do you think? thanks

Luckily for you (and others), they replay the show an hour or two after the show ends on a continuous loop for about 24 hours.

That's what I said. I don't remember how Ed plays big pocket pairs but I can't believe he'd just flat call a 5-high flop.

Ed probably thought his hand was best but he does not raise when he's not pretty certain he's best. He just calls down. The speed of his call just tells me that he had no intention of raising or folding and likely said to himself "I'm calling any bet and going all-in if checked to because I have AK and Barry probably has QJ or some other bad hand." Ed's just a calling station and when he limp-reraises, then flat calls a flop of 5-4-4, you gotta put him squarely on overcards. If he raises, then he's got a real hand.
