No more Rake Back at Party Poker

I just received this from my affiliate at Party Poker:
[ QUOTE ]
*******.com Players,
We are sending this to all *******.com players that have
received a Party Poker sign up code. Party Poker has officially
informed us that they will no longer be paying us our affiliate fees
based on the fact that we offer Rake Back. As a result, we will no
longer be able to offer rake back to our Party Poker players (you).
This is effective for the month of April and beyond. As most of you
know, we have been in discussions with Party to try and convince them
that this is a poor decision but they refuse to offer us any kind of a
deal. We even agreed to stop signing up new players if they would just
allow us to continue to pay our existing players rake back but no luck.
...

[/ QUOTE ]

It then goes on about how to switch to Empire instead.

Did anyone else get something like this?

I don't know if it's ok to identify specific affiliates here.

news flash: there never "was" rakeback at Party -- it's always been against their T&C, and affiliates do/did so at their own risk. Looks like this one got nabbed.

Its not if you're advertising, but this is far from an advert! More of a Public Service Announcement.

True, but the question is if it was only this one or if they are cancelling all affiliate payments.

It's pretty clear from the language of the email that the answer is no: they're cancelling that affiliates' b/c he gave rakeback, which is against their T&C. I'm glad he got nabbed -- it's against the rules.
