Re: Is subscribing to Card Player worth it for a Canadian?

I thought most of the content was on the website? If its not then guess have to evaluate how much that isnt on there is worth having.

No. All the content is freely available at cardplayer.com and (IMHO) the magazine has really gone downhill since they went to the new format.

Re: Is subscribing to Card Player worth it for a Canadian?

In my recent readings of CardPlayer (past year or so) it has been very disappointing. I used to be able to pick up some interesting concepts and whatnot, but now its all about tournament poker. I don’t play tournaments or even NL, so that part does me no good. They are doing a lot of coverage of the tournament circuit also, another element of the game that doesn’t interest me too much not even for entertainment value. I would defiantly not pay for a subscription to it.
