Standard Staking Procedure?

If I plan on staking a friend to play in the weekly super tournies on Party and the big weekend tournies, what % of the winnings am I entitled too? Is 50% too much or should it work on a sliding scale depending on how much the winnings are in relation to the entry? For example, should I expect to get 50% of a 140,000 first prize after only putting up $250 or should I max out at 100X the buy-ins or the like? Any input and suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

If you back him for the whole buyin, i think standard is 50% of winnings.

i think that 50% profit for the player is on the high-end of what the player gets, but not crazy.

50%?

If I stake someone I typically ask for 75-80% of the winnings.

Oh, well then. Guess my group of friends is extra kind to the player.

I think it depends on formality, etc. I have done 50/50 for friends.

What about a small percentage of the buy-in? What if the person wants to back $150 for a $500? What do you think then?
