what is seat 3 doin on third, i've never seen someone fold for 1 bet after a ridiculous steal at 2/4, watch out for him,lol


If you don't think he has aces up yet on 6th I think you should put a bet in and try to knock out seat 8, but there isn't much else you can do with 2 pair v. aces, against someone with some third street discipline he has to have you beat or have a flush draw to go with his aces on 6th.

great point, if your going to bet it fifth there isn't much reason to stop when he hits a 5 on 6th

It seems to me that when you bet 5th, it gave him a perfect opportunity to raise & try to thin the field. When he only calls,your chance of him not having A's up is better,imo.So bet 6th.

Just check fifth and be done with it. He might have aces up already, he might get there, who knows. It's reverse implied odds. He got lucky. Okay, next hand.

Edit: On the other hand, these people are such donkeys that I guess the likelihood that he doesn't have two pair is pretty high. But again, this is risky territory.

I thought he did have aces up on 5th. But when it got checked around to me I just couldn't help betting. Worst thing to happen is not betting and let one of the other two catch some miracle straight for free. Besides it's fun to push two-outers [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

When 5th was not raised by aces I was a little lost. I couldn't see him chasing 3rd and 4th without some kind of pair in the hole unless he was a total donk. Perhaps he was sitting on a boat and wanted to keep seat 8 in by not raising. Doubtful but we've all seen worse.

But here's a question...Now that 6th was checked around and so was 7th, should I bet? It looks like aces will call no matter what (ahead or behind), but I doubt he's raising with anything short of a boat. Is this a value bet here?
