Just to identify ourselves as 2+2ers without mentionning 2+2

A significant amount of time ago, someone posted a thread about "how should signify ourselves as being 2+2 without actually mentioning 2+2"? A guy responded, "well, I usually ask 'Does the brown trout sleep in the closet?' " and term stuck.

Seems kinda silly to me(although I go along with it) just because usually people have the same response('What does that mean'?) if you just say '2+2?'

I mean really...how many people are going to see '2+2?' and say to themselves, "Oh they must be talking about an online poker message board!"??

I was at a table and a guy asked me the trout question. After giving the proper response he replied with "Lol! 2+2?", which I feel defeated the purpose of the original question...

If only poker players were cool enough for a secret handshake...
