Good From The Flood

Joe Albaugh was FEMA director in 2001. His only qualification was being Bush's campaign manager.

Allbaugh hires Michael Brown, his former college room mate, also unqualified for a FEMA job.

Albaugh leaves to become a lobbyist for Halliburton and Brown becomes FEMA director.

Halliburton has been hired to do storm clean up at US naval bases.

Mission Accomplished.

Albuagh had enough sense to order FEMA to coordinate plans with Lousinanna emergency management officials in the event New Orleans were to be hit by a major hurricane. FEMA basically ignored New Orleans unitl Bush came into office and appointe Albuagh.

Also Allbaugh left FEMA when it became part of the Dept of Homeland Security and Bush passed him over for secretary in favor of Tom Ridge.

I know your just trying to be a good partisan cardcounter, but at least make sure the talking points you choose to spew are accurate.

Re: Good From The Flood

Joe Albaugh wasn't Bush's campaign manager?

Joe Allbaugh didn't hire Michael Brown, his former college room mate?

After leaving FEMA Joe Albaugh didn't become a lobbyist for Halliburton?

Michael Brown didn't become FEMA director?

What fact do you dispute?

I'll keep you posted on how many billions Halliburton bills on the clean up.
