Multiple Party accounts on one IP address

****NOTE: This is NOT a post regarding "gnoming"***

I'm home from school for the winter which obviously equals a lot of poker playing. Currently, my brother plays Party Poker, but not regularly. Will it be a problem if I am also playing on my home IP address? Please note, we will NOT be playing at the same time. This is in no way an attempt at collusion. I'm just wondering if it's safe for two accounts to play from the same IP address at DIFFERENT times.

Thanks guys.

Probably it's ok. Make sure his password is different from yours.

You can play at the same time from 1 IP address. The system will keep you from sitting down at the same table.

Really? Didn't know that...cool. I guess I don't have anything to worry about then.

More to the point, you can never again sit down at the same table. Doesn't much matter unless you like to occasionally beat up your brother. But better safe than sorry I guess.

... with anyone that your brother lets play on his computer past, present, or future.

You might want to think carefully about this.

I've always wondered about this...doesn't that mean you could easily end up at the same table in a MTT?? Maybe not a huge MTT, but how about just one of the SNG MTTs...? Seems pretty ripe for cheating.

it does indeed mean that you could end up on same table *entire* time.

they figured the odds were small for it happening because of the random seating and table changes, so they let the policy stand.

i know roomates that came 2 & 6 in a 900 player mtt. also, i think MSsunshine may have made a final table with his ex (when they were still together).

can't do it in a sNg mtt.

i think stars allow it as well.

I have had up to ppl all gringind PP at my house before, not problems, just lots of "get the F off my tables!" being yelled back and forth. Luckily we play enough differnet limits that you can still get 6-8 tables going.

UMM THIS is False.

My buddy and i both signed up for the nightly 9:30 on party
1400 people signed up and we were at the same table.
he was playing on my kids computer.

we were only at the table for about 15 min before they broke the table but still 1400+ and we are at the same table.

peace
