best strategy?

There is a player who I play against everyday in live 1/2,5/5 and 5/10 games. He's not the strongest player and he bets 10-20X the blind on any good pocket hand which makes him hard to read at times. On the flop he bets the pot and same on the turn, which makes it almot impossible to call with not top pair or draw. What is the best strategy? Call and see flops? Reraise preflop with AK+? All thoughts are apprecieated.

Be a rock, re-raise with your best holdings. This is brain dead poker, but it gets the money.

Reraise with AA and KK. Maybe call with QQ. Muck everything else. If he's telling you what he has preflop and making it not worth your money to see a flop, just don't.

Fold a lot. If he pays you off (he probably won't if he plays you every day), try to bust him with pocket pairs.

He shouldn't be hard to read when you already know what he has in the pocket when he bets that much. Against someone like that you usually have to wait for a good opportunity. if he bets 20x it sounds to me that slowplaying would be the best maneuver against him, since he likes to fire at the pot any chance he gets. But you also have to have at least jacks or better to play when he bets that much. Jacks and queens you might have to go all in only if it's heads up. Kings and aces, slowplay all day. Otherwise it's best to study more about his betting habits and find more weaknesses when he isnt holding a pp.

first off when possible ,have him on your rt...good position for maniac type.. second, what exactly does he figure to be a premo hand, u should know from playing day in and out(prs over 10, high connectors, or is he a maniac betting with any pair or two big cards?) These are the type i love to play with, just sit back play your premo hands and dish it right back
