like always, I have to tag along with the flashy new play on the 2+2 forums. Is this one going overboard?

It might well work, especially with a good read on BB. But if he's not brain dead, he'll realize that calling is almost risk free. If you win, he is almost a cinch for second place whether he calls or not.
