Big semi bluff (nl400)

6 max nl 400.

To give a context-- A few hands before this one, a few limpers to me on button I pot it with J9s, only 1 limper calls. Flop comes A57 and gives me a flush draw, he check raises me, I 3-bet all in, villain calls with A3o, and I suck out, .

Then this hand against a different opponent comes up.

Folds to me in the SB, i have ~1000, villain in the BB has 400 ish. He's been pretty passive, but probably has noticed that I am being way overaggressive, and just pounding the table preflop and on the flop with cont bets.

Anyway, folds to me in SB i raise to 14 w/ JTo, he calls.

Flop 79K w/ 2 of a suit(double gutter), I pot it villain calls.

Turn is an offsuit 9, i check, villain pots it, I push.

Thoughts?

villains noticed how you play.....I think you are getting called here every single time...and you might be getting your money in drawing dead here.

I think there is a reasonable possibility that he is floating here w/ junk/ flush draw.

Also- the 9 definitely is a scare card. Or am I being too optomistic?

I like it, you're putting your opponent to a big decision here for roughly $300 more of his stack, correct?

I don't see a King calling you here, is that what you're asking?

I think it's unlikely. Given your past hands at this table...if he had the flush draw he'd almost certainly have taken the free turn card you offered him...he didn't. I think he calls you with any King here. He's already put almost half his stack in so I don't think he's folding TP here, especially against you.

I like it, given the circumstances. You're in a SB/BB battle and have a very aggressive table image, so the BB could easily be calling with any two to play take away on the turn. Nice hand. I'm sure he folds some KTish or less type hands, and you have outs.

given that he was willing to pot this turn, esp. against you and your image, i think this line is poopoo.

Spew.

I find that when I start doing stuff like this like playing huge pots w/ JTo unimproved oop, whether or not it is necessarily correct at the time, its usually some form of tilt.
