Hats off to Bodog!! (oh, and screw Empire)

"It has been awhile since you last played at our tables, but I think I have something that you might be interested in: How does free entry into the Bodog Poker Room $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament sound? The tournaments are held every Sunday, so if not this week - - any week!"

I had to deposit $50, and after doing that they gave me $109 in tournament chips so I could buy into this tourney.

This is a company going out of their way to keep their customers happy. Nice to see this going around when you have crap like what Empire is doing at the other end of the spectrum. So hats off to you Bodog, you have gained a loyal customer for life, and a lot of good word of mouth advertising. And if Empire et all aren't careful, those idiots could see a serious loss of business. They are acting like they have a monopoly on online poker, and nothing could be further from the truth.

I agree with you. I didnt get the free tourney offer, but I just tried Bodog for the first time to see how the bonus cleared and how the cash outs are.

Found the bonus cleared at stud quickly, and if more games get going I'll be playing more and more there.

Just made the cash out so I don't know how that will go time wise yet.

I'll redeposit much more next time and work off the bonus happily.

Cmon all you prima and party stud players, clear some bonus at Bodog, it's by far the best place for stud players clearing a bonus.

I really need to look into bodog and see what people think. Thought originally people said it wasn't worth it, but now it seems that more people are saying it's worth the time.

Last time I played there my middle set got board-quadded 3, count it, 3 times.

I've had more bad beats there than anywhere else combined--and the reason for that is the players are SOO AWFUL. It's a goldmine if Lady Variance is on your side.

Just finished playing a nice game of $0.50/$1.00 7CS there. Ante is a dime and bring-in is a quarter. How does that compare to other sites' games?

I had to earn 33 points to finish clearing the $20 bonus on my initial $100 deposit (testing the waters). Did that in 2 hours. Since 3 points - $1 in bonus money, that's $5.50 per hour single-tabling a micro-limit game. Not bad. Now if only we could depend on the game being active.

I immediately deposited another $400 and am now working off an $80 bonus. One thing I like about BoDog is you don't have to make one humungous deposit. You can make small ones, work off the bonus, then make another small deposit. Every deposit gets a 20% bonus.

Oh -- I ordered the BoDog Girls 2005 calendar too.

I think I'll like it here.

Participation in Bodog's wagering system is open only to those individuals who are 18 years of age or older, and are not residents of Canada. Only one account is allowed per household or shared computer

Since they are located in Costa Rica I wonder wtf us Canuks are excluded? Maybe we shoulda helped the US chasing Pineapple Face years ago?

I wonder if putting a fake US address would work :/
