Another rivalry in the works?
 

I would've loved to have been at this table ...

From Cardplayer.com, update about today's WSOP 7-Card Stud Event.

Date / Time: 2005-06-09 18:32:00
Title: Things get heated as the day drags on.
Log: "Syracuse" Chris Tsiprailidis got into an argument with a fellow table member. Since Tsiprailidis was seated directly to the left of Paul Darden, the argument got to a level that started to distract Darden from his game. When Darden had enough of the loud tempers and screaming, he told Tsiprailidis to "Shut up!". Chris then spilled his argument over towards Darden, and an argument ensued between the two pros. At one point the two men were face to face exchanging stares and some strong words. At this point Tsiprailidis asked Darden to step outside to settle it. But being the profesional player that Darden is, he declined the invitation, but not without a stern warning, saying "Don't even look my way or talk to me!". Tsiprailidis was asked to take a break for a hand and shortly after returned to the table where the two players did not acknowledge each other's existence.

Yeah that was a stone bluff and Darden didn't have a read on him. If Darden said yes to going outside Chris woulda done the lets go while putting his arms back hoping someone will grab him before Darden kicks his butt.

But Darden shouldn't have told him to shut up. That is out of line. If he didn't like what was going on he shoulda asked for a floorman. Not get involved and tell chris to shut up. All he is doing is creating a bigger problem and getting involved in something that he shouldn't be.
