Re: Aces UP

Bets 2/3 or 3/4 ish pot because villain likely has AQ, AJ or 55-TT, in my opinion.

Re: Aces UP

you think villian checked flop, called my turn raise, and will pay off a river with TT?

my image is good, but that is stretching it.

Re: Aces UP

Betting 500 on the end, might get a call from AQ-A9 depending on your image. But it might also induce a bluff-checkraise if he can get tricky.
Although the way that was played it looks like he either has Aces up himself or a pair+flush draw. So I would bet/check behind depending on how bad he was and how good my image is.

Re: Aces UP

I check behind here a lot... vs any opponent who will Cr the river without AK or a set a decent amount of times. A flush is prttyunlikely, hed have to have raised pf w/ a small suited connector (not impossible mind you). If he will CR only w/ AK or a set then consider betting small. However, AQ is the only plausible hand you MIGHT get any value from but even him holding that and calling with that is a bit of a stretch.

Im a puss, so I check river 50% of time. I gotta think the correct play is to bet however, a milking type bet, like 400-600. This may invite a check raise however, so make sure you know your man if you're gonna milk him, otherwise, check behind.

Re: Aces UP

thin preflop call.

Why aren't you betting flop after it's checked to you?

I like river check behind, he has AK/KK/flush enough times that it's worth checking. IMO you should be checking club and diamond paint cards, betting everything else, since the most likely hands for villain are paint pairs, ace-paint, or flush draw, and although villain's probably not on diamonds, villain will be less likely to pay you off with a worse hand if the diamond flush comes in.

You're right. I guess we're just hoping he has AQ and weaker here then.

I think the chances of a getting CR'd are pretty high, and am most likely behind, but with outs, a couple of which could break his possible hands pretty well.
