While we\'re talking films...

Come on guys, time to admit a move that you are really embarrased you like.

I liked, among others..

1. Gods and Generals
2. Starman
3. Some kind of Wonderful

And, a bonus for someone to list Brokeback Mountain. lol.

Re: While we\'re talking films...

My list would be waaaaaaaaaaay too long to compile/post.

I enjoyed all 3 of the movies you listed, btw...although "Gods and Generals" could've used a bit more editing.

Delta Force 1 and 2 (but 3 sucked)
Big Shots
Toy Soldiers
The Mighty Pawns
Rocky V (no...I can't back that up.)

The first "Delta Force" rocks on many levels. I am insulted that you are ashamed to admit enjoying this.

I love Ishtar. It's a sickness...Young Guns 1 and 2. 2 is actually better...not saying a lot.

I also used to secretly enjoy watching Alladin with my victi...um...little sister.

Pee-wee's Big Adventure should embarass me, but doesn't, not that there's anything wrong with that.

No, really, I don't see why someone should be embarassed about liking that movie. I haven't seen it yet, but everything I've heard about it has been great.

I really liked Love Actually

I really like British Romantic Comedies, actually - I like dry humor and I love imagining them moaning in that accent.

So there - my guilty pleasure - but for some reason, I haven't seen Pride and Prejudice yet...

You are right. Nothing better than seeing Lee Marvin boss Chuck Norris around. Maybe I'm ashamed that I watch it so much.

i expect Brokeback Mountain to be a critically good movie. but the real fact is that i have no desire to watch gay affection. it turns me off. i like to sympathise with the main charachters. i'm not a homophobe at all, but i have no desire to go there in my mind. i'd kind of feel nausious.

This thread sucks. Everyone is citing movies that are awesome. Point Break? Varsity Blues? Toy Soldiers? Punisher?

These are unintentional comedy classics, not movies to be ashamed of (except Rocky V).

The OP had a good idea and it has been butchered.

That depends on whether they like them as unintentional comedy, or legitimately like them as intended.

A lot of people find Omega Man and Soylent Green very weak, but I just really enjoyed them a lot.

Growing up, I loved Tarzan movies, and I mean the Ron Ely ones, not the old classics. I just thought Tarzan was bitchin', and I read a ton of the books too(Burroughs wrote a whole lot of Tarzan and Korak books.)

I also dig a lot of old Vincent Price horror films. Sure, a lot of them were cheesy, but I don't care. They're just pure fun to me. I loved him as Dr. Phibes, and in Theater of Blood, and lots of those old goofy gems.

Mine would have to be "Undercover Blues," with Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner. I loved it for some reason when I was a kid, then I watched it again last year, and it was truly one of the most awful movies I've ever seen. And yet....I still liked it. I can't explain why. Guess I just can't let go.

Howard the Duck is a great call. Everyone gives me crazy looks when I say I liked this movie. Plus a trashy Lea Thompson, what is not to like with this movie. An 86 movie, however, probably has not been seen by too many on this board.

I will throw out the movie Heathers.
