did i play this hand wrong in p0825? thoughts?

I potted nut low on turn, and got counterfeited, he had a nut flush draw. Should I stop betting pot on lows in these circumstances? Any thoughts? I thought his pot bet was crazy.

I think calling down pot bets with the nut low but no high is a big leak, generally speaking. Especially a very common A2 low and no counterfeit protection.

i did have counterfeit protection, if counterfeited, i would have a 6 for low.

Folding the flop was probably wiser than playing on. even with counterfeit protection, since your high is so weak (gutshot).

On the turn, your opponent had top set for the current nuts and a 2nd nut low. You each had 3 outs to scoop each other. You're lucky the 3rd guy didn't have A2.

Fold the flop. You have a nearly naked nut low against two opponents that like their hand. You're drawing to half the pot at best most of the time.

I like the way you played it, except I'd check-raise the turn. The way the action went down, it's tough for the third player to put chips in.

You guys who are advocating fold flop, I think there's too much to be gained from catching a nice turn card like this one.

Lol!!! I didn't know he had top set. I just thought I had a flush draw... I'm always trying to scoop the pots in those situations, but you are advocating to fold on the flop. I don't have that type of discipline yet because I looove scooping!
