Absolute bonus clearing.

I sent them an e-mailtoday saying I will not play there anymore. Due to makeing it .50 to get 1 apr (what ever they are). I played 1k hands at .5/1 and 1/2 and cleared 20 bucks. They can have it.

I also told them about there rake. I think we should all write them letters to them about this. Soomething migt be done.

Is anyone else willing to do this? Also are you willing not to play there until they male it .25?

either move up in limits or accept the fact that Absolute specifically made the change in the bonus to get rid of unprofitable 50c/$1 players like yourself.

it's still up to 180% rakeback equivalent as long as you play at tables where pots routinely hit $10 or more. and RB still doesn't deduct from MGR, afaik.

Re: Absolute bonus clearing.

I played at Absolute for about 6 weeks before the switch to the new bonus system. I cleard $500 in bonus but only paid ~$400 in rake, and of course Absolute didn't get to keep all of that rake since some unknown % went to my affiliate who in turn gave 28% back to me.

I don't see how anybody could realistically expect Absolute to keep a system that guaranteed they would lose money to low-limit players like myself. I won't play at Absolute anymore either, but I don't have the slightest hard feelings toward them. If anything, I feel mildly guilty for taking advantage of their poorly-thought-out bonus structure.

Exactly the same here. Hit them for $1300 of bonuses at $1-$2 with the unmentionable. No way they could keep on going like that.

I do think this is something they should have endeavored to bring to players' attention however. Without reading this, there's no telling how many hands I would've played without realizing the change, since I'm not obsessively checking my bonus status.
