Lot. Of. Action. 50/100 Hero = Donator??

UB 50/100 Full.
Hero is UTG w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero Raises, MP1 (32/8) calls, Button (28/11) calls, BB (no read) calls. 4 to flop.

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets, MP1 calls, Button raises, BB folds, Hero 3-bets, MP1 calls, Button calls.

Turn K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, MP1 checks, Button bets, Hero calls, MP1 raises (!!), Button 3-bets, Hero calls (XXX), MP1 caps, button calls, Hero calls (YYY).

River blank, hero checks, MP1 bets, button raises, hero folds, MP1 calls.

I'm perfectly happy w/ how I played the hand until the turn. I want to know about decision points XXX and YYY. Could / should I have gotten away from the hand at either of those points??

I like checking the turn K, because I'd prob get raised by any K if I led, and my goal is to see river for 1 bet. Calling first button bet is no-brainer. But then MP1 comes alive on a trap play and checkraises 2 opponents, screaming some kind of boat, and button 3-bets!! I need to call 2-cold at XXX, but pot is very large, and I've got a great draw even though board is paired. Then at YYY, it's just one more bet in a huge pot, and I do have the miracle royal draw, even though it looks like hitting a simple straight or flush is only going to cost me more money vs. a boat.

Comments? This hand was a tough one for me.

Smells like MP1 has a boat and button probably does too, I think you can probably fold. I count you getting about 14:2 immediate odds at XXX. You have 11 outs at best if you are not only drawing to the royal, and are much more likely to have 8 or less.

It's hard to comment because you don't say much about the players, but if you have a tight image, it is sometimes cheapest to bet out on the turn.

looks to me like a fold when it gets back to you and it's 2 more bets on a paired board. Yeah the Royal draw looks pretty but that's about it. It being a full table just makes me lean even more towards a fold.

Results: MP1 had 44, and button had KQ.

I was drawing to 1 out.

But what a sweet out it would have been.

With this much action on flop, does anyone else just call when raised back, then if the flush comes on turn, bet out into the player inbetween?
