22 bad push into small stack?

In the past I have routinely made these pushes into small stacks but I am now begining to see them as a mistake. The reason being that small stacks often have loose calling ranges. Do you like this push and if not what range are you pushing here?

Off the top of my head, I would probably push the top 40% of hands here assuming he's calling top 50% or something. I need to look at this in SNGPT more though, and I don't have it on this computer. I'd fold in your situation if I thought a call was very likely (he's calling 50% or so). Again, this may not be correct, but I'd have to look at it more closely. In other words, this would be my at the table answer, but this is by no means a definitive or maybe even good answer.

He happened to have a good hand -88- so I dont know his calling range but would you figure the typical 22 opponent in this situation to call with 50% of hands.

edit: oddly, using sngpt giving him a 50% calling range you should push 50% of hands
