KK hand on ace-high board

5-5 nlhe, live game, player to my left is very passive preflop, slightly loose, likes to cold-call me with A9s (which isn't too bad considering that I like to raise with KQo), call the flop with middle pair and check to the river in position.

There's maybe 5-7 players, and the game's been pretty loose-passive in the last few hours, with most flops being 4-ways and unraised. There's still action on the flop though, and people do make moves (not generally the villain in this hand, though, he's quite passive). I'm chip leader with maybe 3500 in chips, and villain is on my direct left, in UTG, with 800.

Villain may be slightly on tilt, due to recently losing a hand, but i'm not sure.

Villain blind-raises utg, before cards are dealt, to 20. It's folded to me, and I raise him to $80, he re-raises to 200 and I call.

Flop is AT4 rainbow. Heads-up, 200. I bet 200, he calls. 600 in the pot.

Turn is a 6. I bet 100 and he pushes for 300 more. Hero?

--

2 questions:

1) Am I finished when he calls the 200 on the flop?
2) Should I have pushed preflop?
3) Can I call the turn push?
4) Should I have bet 100 on the turn?
5) Should I have bet 200 on the flop?

So in other words... what do you think of the hand?

Villain is an experienced player who is capable of making a move.

Did he look at his cards before making it 200?

I would just push the flop. I am a big fan of not three betting KK preflop WHEN MY OPPONENTS HAND IS OBVIOUS (AA-JJ/AK). It doesn't seem to be the case here, so I would go all in and not worry about it.

As played call the turn. There's too much money out there. I like the $100 bet SO LONG AS YOU CALL. Other wise check call all in.

Yes. If he didn't, I guess I'd have to push right then and just hope that he didn't randomly have aces.

Edit: Does that sound correct?

I would just stick it in preflop. I doubt he can fold QQ-JJ and AK after committing 1/4 of his stack.

Crapdamn!

Makes sense, thanks.

Results: hero calls waits for like 30sec-2min... not sure how long, and eventually crosses fingers (literally) and friggin calls, immediately turns over kings. Villain doesn't show, hero wins. Hero doesn't ask.

As played, I think you have to hold your nose and call the turn.

Better line - push his short stack in pre-flop.

Firstly, thanks guys.

Secondly, on the turn do I bet/call, check/call, or push? (I see pushing as not good here because it may not get calls out of weak hands.)

Thirdly, yes, I realize that I should push pf.

And fourthly, would your play be any different with JJ than with KK in this hand?

Should JJ push preflop?

Should JJ bet the flop then call the turn?
