Teaching friends basic poker to bonus whore
 

This has had to been discussed once before, somewhere, so i'm just asking for a link. I set 5 friends of mine off with a spreadsheet list of all the casinos that are bonus whorable, they've done well, done the list playing bj and video poker.

Now i'm wondering if i could teach them enough basic poker to hold their own to pick up the poker bonuses. Even if they lose at -1bb/100h they will still show a good profit.

So, anyway, links to basic poker strategy systems? I think i shall pass on the preflop chart, or make a very basic nl strategy.

Here is a basic strategy for the party poker signup bonus.

Go to the $5 NL beginners tables. The blinds are .04 and .02. Do 3 tables at a time (which is all the $5 NL tables that they have). Fold every hand except for AA and move allin preflop with AA.

This will clear the bonus with a profit. [They will also get plenty of experience observing how to play the game.]

One day I was board and wrote up a basic strategy for the play money tables for my GFs 10year old.

Basically had him playing any suited face cards and any pairs above 88. With appropriate raising instructions. And had him playing AA-QQ AKS against raises except for expanding against 3 cold callers.

His post flop instrutions, were to bet top pair or better.

He did well over a couple play money sessions, and he knows literally nothing about poker.

Lee Jones is a quick read and sufficient to break even at low limits.
