Turn decisions with a gut shot with 2 examples.
My buddy and I have been trying to get better at turn decisions in position. I understand the idea of check with outs, bet without outs. But what about if you are in between? FWIW I see hand 1 as a check and hand 2 as a bet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see arguements for the exact opposite.

I bet 1 before I bet 2
you have a WT player calling your flop bet on A99r board - look out hand 1 you at least have a gutshot and 2 "overcards" to back up a bet I probably check them both though |
Re: Turn decisions with a gut shot with 2 examples.
Small pots weak hands. I think putting more money in on the turn in either of these cases is a mistake. Hand 2 especially since people love to bluff c/r that kind of board.
