ATo on button - Stars turbo nearing bubble time

Big blind's play has seemed reasonable so far - not particularly laggy or tight.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) converter

MP (t1175)
Hero (t2640)
SB (t3780)
BB (t2385)
UTG (t3520)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to t600, 1 fold, BB calls t400.

Flop: (t1300) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ???

I hate pokerstars. Well I like it, but I hate how everyone plays back at you with sh*t, but lots of times not sh*t. W/e.

See now you're f*cked. Thats why I think all-in would be good. Checking could be good also, if not better.

The only reason I wouldn't want to just bet out 800-900 is becuase there is a good chance of them playing back at you.

There are a very few hands that fold to a push but raise your flop bet. Standard 1/2 pot cont bet and fold to a raise works well here, I think.

i would have played this exactly as you have so far. after the flop raise, i'd just muck. you have 7bb's enough to do some damage with, hell 1 double up and you're right back where you were. you're not ahead of the BB on this flop and you're probably not gonna catch him.

So we frown upon an all-in here?

Ya, I hate it when this happens. He could very easily have a lot of hands that have me beat at this point where an all in flop bet probably gets him to fold a lot of hands I'm behind.

I hate checking here, but in hindsight it might have been the best play.

So you think a 650 - 700 bet would probably accomplish the same thing as 800?

I hate what happened here. Maybe I was destined to lose half my stack here.
