Villain is Tek Recka, not sure if he's a 2+2er, but for about the entire last hour (5th hour of the deepstacks, close to the money) we've just been stealing a ton from the table. Do I call all in here? He could have basically any two, and I figured he probably had the same straight after the huge bet, but should I risk all my chips?

Why not fold or reraise preflop? I don't play any tournaments this deep but I would fold most likely or reraise.

He's definately a loose raiser. Yeah, I'm still in it, 22nd of 67 w/ ~64k... at a table with Exitonly.

Edit: Recently lost ~20k in a hand where I bet w/ AJo, flop came 752, villain bets, I call, turn A bet, raise, call, river 7, I check behind, he had A7... ow.

And I go out, bet all-in into a flopped set.

I think you played this hand horribly. Preflop is raise/fold. Flop is raise/fold.

Playing passively against a TAG is generally bad.

I feel like I understand what you're saying here intuitively, but I wonder if you can elaborate on this idea a bit.

My intution is that you can't let a tight aggressive player dictate the size of a pot or how the bets get into a pot. You either don't give him action when you feel he's strong, or you raise and reraise to allow his tightness to come into play and give him a chance to fold when you feel you can push the TAG off his hand. In any case, you don't just call bets, (and here's where I get lost) because you're likely to be behind? or because you get no information about the TAG's hand?

Bleah. I am curious if there's a general principle I'm missing here.
