I will be rooting for the White Sox
 

As many of you may know, neither of my two favorite teams made it to the WS this year. Thus, in order to remain super interested to this years WS, I am going to emotionaly invest myself into the Chicago White Sox. I really [censored] hope they win, and if they don't I will be severely pissed for 1 hour.

I am doing this partly because I think this series will be close, and in particular pitching wise. Secondly, I am doing this because I hate the Astros. So this seems to be the perfect match. The games will mean more to me, and I have a team to root for. If someone asks me if I am a White Sox fan, I will say, "hell yeah, for about the past 2 days, GO SOX". Yes, that is correct, I will straight up say I am not a true fan.


I am really looking forward to this WS, and GO SOX!

me too.

i heard somewhere the odds on 2 teams winning in 1917 & 18 and again in 2004 & 05 without either of them winning in the meantime was 18 million to 1. as a gambler i love to see that sort of longshot come in.

Astros Will Win
 

The White Sox starting pitchers are good, but the Astros' are great. Clemens and Pettitte have had their best years and Oswalt is throwing great. I like the Astros in six.

Then again, most people who bet sports like to ask me who I like and then go the other way. With success.

So bet the Sox.
