Nick C displaced by Katrina-- well-wishes

Pardon the off-topic somber post, but I feel it's worth mentioning that Nick C, carpal/tunnel poster to this forum, is a New Orleans resident who was forced to evacuate from Katrina. To my knowledge, he is en route to California, where he is from, and hasn't had the time or inclination to check this forum. It might hearten him somewhat if those of you who benefitted from his contributions could post a brief message wishing him well.

I am sure there are others in that region in a similar situation as well.

I knew there was something missing on here lately.

While I believe I've already made a few "contributions" to Nick C personally, I'll be making another one to help the victims of Katrina.

Nick & any other bros recovering from the hurricane, you know we're here for ya.

I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Nick C (and he knows it, often awkwardly refusing my poker-style advances), and I've sent him a PM - so if you talk to him, make sure he checks those when he gets a chance.

I miss his well thought-out responses to posts. And his manly scent. I hope he returns soon...

Thanks for letting us know. A few of us yesterday were remarking that we hadn't seen him in awhile and wondered what happened to him. We [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] him and miss him and hope he arrives in California safely and that any of his loved ones in the Gulf area are safe; he should contact some us Californians when he gets here.
