Sure looks like you're beat. I muck here against the type of opponent you described.

Only way you're ahead is if he limped ace-junk, but with those stats it doesn't seem like he's doing that a whole lot from early MP. I think you'll see lots of boats and bigger aces if you call this river.

i mean i sometimes raise here depending on the players who have already called,my image, etc, but certainly not always...

I don't think a PF raise is standard here and I'm not sure if AZK was joking or not, but I disagree with it. Its a tough spot, as was mentioned, you aren't beating a whole lot. Really depends on the player. I probably find a fold here lots of the time.

I agree with the guy who said lead the flop also.

Why exactly am I raising AJo here? I don't even raise it IN position. I hate it.

As for the results, I folded. I really think playing the previous streets better helps this hand. I think I should've lead. That'll help define my hand as well as define theirs. The turn bet I could've had a 9, an 8, or even a flush draw im Villain's eyes (he could also have a flush draw and bluffed me because of my river bet being small).

I think I should've definitely bet river harder as well.

You are beating A2-A7, Tx, a busted club draw, or air. Whether that accounts for 27% of the time is the question. I probably find a call here, as I think its close to 27% of the time, and Id like to see his cards.
