Re: Agressive AJ from the BB

I think it is too aggressive against unknown villain since unknown villains usually just call your preflop 3-bet with a marginal hand. I would put an unknown villain here on a good hand range, and thus your flop check-raise isn't likely to make him fold often enough. When having check-raised the flop, I think the turn bet is worth a shot.

How weak is check fold? I would probably do it.

I think I normally do this. I wanted to try something new.

checkraising doesnt have any value imo because you cannot possibly fold a better hand and youre only putting in more bets with a hand that is often behind.

having said that i dont know if i like cf, cc cf, cc cc cf, or cc cc cc.

You don't think I get 77-JJ, AJ, AT to fold ocasionally on the flop, or at least on my contination bet?

I agree it is expensive, but does it at least work sometimes?

no i dont think you ever get those pairs to fold. i also dont know why you included ATo into that list of hands, but AJo will fold sometimes.

It will work sometimes, but against an unknown I don't like risky plays. Stick with things that will work most of the time against an unknown.

I'd just C/F it on the flop

What hands could you possibly beat that caps preflop?
