Defending the BB

When a typical SB tries to steal, what unsuited Aces do you defend with and how? I typically reraise down to A6, almost never call, and fold small aces. Does this sound like a reasonable strategy? Obviously you make adjustments for reads, but I'm talking basic strategy. Also, I'm talking about a steal by the SB only, not by the CO or BB.

I reraise nearly all Aces, sometimes I wouldn't with a big ace if I wanted to screw with his head later. I don't think i'd ever fold an ace here. Keep in mind it depends on his ATSB and how he plays post flizzile.

in this situation i often play a bad ace the same as a small pocket pair. that is, i call preflop and raise any ragged flop. readless, i only 3-bet down to a8o.

Interesting, thanks. I tend to toss the very lowest so that...well I don't know exactly why it just seemed right. Maybe I need to defend them all.

Hmmmmm, I always reeraise all As, maybe thats a leak without a read.

I am certainly never folding any A here. I would 3-bet down to A6o practically always, and I probably mix up 3-betting and calling with A5o and under 60/40 or 70/30. It is also somewhat opponent dependent.
